Minna Canth was born 175 years ago in 2019. She was working hard for women’s rights in her time and was main inspiration in this children’s book written by Elina Lappalainen. In the book sisters Elli and Hanna get to know about Minna and other remarkable women in Finland, in the fields of literacy, arts, science and politics. The story works as an inspiration for the children to find their own strength.
